GENE + NEW ALBUM RELEASE 'DRAWN TO THE DEEP END' OUT 17th FEB 1997

Gene issue their new album, Drawn To The Deep End, for Polydor on February 17. The LP featuresl2 tracks and includes full-length versions of their recent hit Fighting Fit and the new single we Could Be Ktngs. The album was produced by Chris Hughes, former member of Adam And The Ants, and was recorded throughout the summer of '96 in Bath and London.

Drawn To The Deep End also features tracks that were previewed earlier this year at the summer festivals and the band's last UK tour in October '96: Where Are They Now?, Speak To Me Someone, Save Me I'm Yours and Voice of The Father.

Gene head out on a UK tour throughout FebruaIy and March, including their biggest London show to date at The Royal Albert Hall on March 1st.
